It has been 4 years that I have been commuting to New York City from Jersey city for work. I work in Midtown Manhattan. The finest perk of this job is me getting to experience the best of New York City, from dawn to dusk, be it the glorious summer days or the cruel winter months.

In the last 4 years, I have taken the liberty of this close proximity and have explored Manhattan to the T. All I needed was a comfortable pair of sneakers, and some water to drink, and I walked the whole expanse of the city, from the “tippity top” (Inwood) to the “tippity bottom” (Battery Park).

That gives me the courage to write this New York City Blog. I have taken countless friends, and family on this journey, and have made friends in the city while walking. I have cried on the streets of Manhattan in despair. I have been on Cloud 9 on the streets when New York gave me a taste of success. I have ran for trains on her streets. I have stopped to greet the migrating woodcocks.

Very few things in the world would compare to being in the heart of Thriving New York City, feeling its energy and matching it with an equal amount of zeal. Yes, it is a city of wealth, but its the people of New York City that makes all the difference!

It took me a while, but here is a list of everything you want to do in New York City. These are not just tourist bucket list items, they are experiences unique to New York City. It can get overwhelming to explore New York. There is no dearth of activity or thing to do in the city.
